One red button – Multiple uses: The Speedmaster X-33’s Regatta function keeps track of the critical five minute count-down to the start of the race by triggering a series of alarms, each with their own recognisable ringing sequence.

HANDS AND DIGITS

With both analogue and digital readings, the X-33 can track a sailor’s every move. It features a skeletonised black-and-white hour hand, a red minute hand and liquid crystal displays. Numbers in LiquidMetal ring the ceramic minute track.

OMEGA is proud of its partnership with Emirates Team New Zealand that started with Sir Peter Blake’s America’s Cup campaign in 1995 and continues to this day. OMEGA is supporting the Kiwi challenge for the 35th America’s Cup in 2017.

TWO FOR THE CREW

The OMEGA Speedmaster X-33 Regatta is one of two watches made in support of the Kiwi crew, which differ completely in style but share the same race-ready spirit. To give the boat an extra boost, OMEGA also created the Seamaster Planet Ocean ETNZ “Deep Black”.

SAILING

OMEGA has served as timekeeper at many of the world’s top competitive sailing events. A partnership with the late Sir Peter Blake started in 1995 and we continue to honour his legacy with our support for Emirates Team New Zealand.

Designed for ETNZ and limited to 2,017 pieces, the X-33 features an ingenious Regatta function, which keeps track of the critical five minute count-down and race time.

Cased in grade 2 titanium, it has a black dial with blue rings and white transferred markings, as well as cut outs for digital readings. The bezel ring is a ceramic/titanium mix and the minute track scale is formed by a black ceramic ring with Liquidmetal.

The caseback is stamped with an EMIRATES TEAM NEW ZEALAND logo and engraved with “CHALLENGER FOR THE 35TH AMERICA’S CUP”, “X-33 REGATTA” and the limited edition number. The watch is presented on a black coated nylon fabric strap with blue rubber lining and blue stitching. It is powered by the OMEGA Calibre 5620.
